It is a routine that has earned the designation of being one of the safest exercise routines for those who are recovering from various injuries. Some of the differences of the Stott Pilates method and the original Pilates exercises, is that the Stott version incorporates the principles of promoting the natural curvature of the spine. Stott Pilates allows a person to develop leaner muscles as opposed to growing bulky muscles.
